We accept digital and hardcopy artwork. Create a better label while saving time and money by ensuring your artwork meets the following requirements:
Art Preparation Requirements
All artwork must be assessed for suitability and processing/clean-up charges (if any). For artwork that does not meet our specifications our graphics department will send a qote for the cost of editing the artwork to make it usable if at all possible.
Please Note: Even if a graphic looks great on your screen, it will not necessarily print well. By following our guidelines you maximize the chances that the artwork you send will produce the best possible results at the lowest cost to you.
- SPOT COLORS
- - Note ink colors using our color names, PMS numbers, or send a sample for us to match
- - Only eight (8) spot colors may be used
- DISCOURAGED EFFECTS
- - Dropshadows
- - Bevel and embossing effects
- - Outlines containing a different color (i.e. red circle with a black outline)
- HARDCOPY REQUIREMENTS
- - High-quality laser print (preferrably black and white line art)
- - No screens or halftones
- - No larger than 8/5" x 11"
- - No transparancies or negatives
A charge to convert artwork to a digital file will be assessed.

Digital File Requirements
Artwork may be emailed or sent on CD. Please be sure to include all necessary files.

- - Illustrator 10 or newer (.ai, .eps, and .pdf)
Linked files will be treated according to their original format and must be sent separately - - Photoshop 7 or newer(.psd)
Do not flatten layers

- - Freehand 10 or newer (.eps and .pdf)

Must be the original file saved at the desired labels size at 600 DPI or higher. Printed as full color labels only. - - InDesign, Quark, and CorelDraw
Must export as an .eps or .pdf file

- - Send the original, editable files
- - Outline all text or send the font file with the artwork
- - Save all graphic files as CMYK when in color or grayscale when black and white
